Patient stories

Real women, real diagnoses, real treatment journeys, real long-term care. Stories from patients who came through our practice — shared with their consent, in their words, with their permission to show their faces or anonymized if they prefer. We do not fabricate, generate, or invent patient testimonials.

Real patient stories — coming soon

We are collecting written consents from patients who would like to share their experience publicly. Each story will be in the patient’s own words, reviewed and approved by her before publication, with control over how she is identified (full name, first name only, or anonymous) and whether her photograph appears.

We will never use AI-generated faces, fabricated quotes, or simulated testimonials in their place. Until consented stories are live, this section stays a labeled placeholder.

If you’d like to see real outcomes during your evaluation

Ask us at your free consultation. We can — with consent from the patients in question — share specific patient experiences relevant to your case during a 1-on-1 conversation, including before-and-after photographs that are not published publicly. These are reviewed in the call, not sent home.

We do that quietly, not as a marketing exercise, because patient consent for private clinical review is a different bar than consent for public web publication — and rightly so.

Why this matters

A surprising number of medical-practice websites use stock photography of smiling models, AI-generated portraits, or paraphrased “composite” testimonials to fill the testimonials section. We won’t. Patients with lipedema have spent enough time being misled. Trust starts with not adding to it.

What you’ll find here when the stories are live

The format will be consistent: a short, written first-person account from the patient (typically 200–400 words), the rough stage and type at diagnosis, the broad shape of her care (conservative-only, or a staged surgical journey, or both), and what she’d want a woman in her position to know. Photographs, if shown, will be plainly labeled and dated, with a published consent record on file.
